Chris Riddell, Emily Gravett and Mini Grey will visit Grand Parade, the Brighton campus where they studied, on 10 May for an Illustrators Evening during which they will present examples of their work alongside illustrator John Vernon Lord, their former tutor and Professor Emeritus at Â鶹´«Ã½, in the Sallis Benney Theatre.
The university's illustration course is considered among the best in the country and Chris Riddell, who has illustrated books such as Muddle Earth, described the event as a "celebration" of the illustration course at the university.
He added: "This is a wonderful opportunity for us to get together and talk about our experiences on the course and subsequent careers. As a leading figure in children's books, John has been a great influence on generations of illustrators taught at Brighton."
Chris will also be speaking alongside author Paul Stewart at the Sallis Benney Theatre on 11 May about the inspiration behind the characters in their books and a new science fiction series.
