| Description: | Granted each year to International and/or Indigenous students who: - have been accepted or conditionally accepted (based on language requirements) to a Faculty of Education graduate program; - have at least three years of successful teaching and/or educational administration experience or equivalent, and; - identify their career aspirations and how their education and this scholarship will help them give back to society. |
| Background: | The Faculty of Education Empowering Teacher-Educator Scholarship was founded in 2018 to aid promising International and Indigenous graduate students undertaking graduate studies in Education at the Â鶹´«Ã½ so that they may further develop as educational leaders to make a difference and contribute to their communities. |
