| Description: | Awarded to a maximum of five returning Â鶹´«Ã½ student athletes who are in good academic standing and actively participate as ambassadors of Â鶹´«Ã½ and Panther Sport, and practice leadership skills by playing key roles in goodwill, recruitment, and retention. |
| Background: | In 2008, the Â鶹´«Ã½ Alumni Association began a campaign aimed at making certain that Â鶹´«Ã½ student-athletes had the needed resources to be effective both on the field and in the classroom. Funds raised were for three initiatives; the creation of a new athletics facility called the Â鶹´«Ã½ Alumni Canada Games Place in honour of the alumni support that made it a reality; the branding of a 48-seat "smart" bus; and the creation of Â鶹´«Ã½ Alumni Athletic Fellowships.
