Global Village celebration takes place at Â鶹´«Ã½ on November 30
The Â鶹´«Ã½ campus community is invited to attend the annual Global Village celebration on Saturday, November 30, in McMillan Hall, W.A. Murphy Student Centre, starting at 3:30 pm.
Global Village is a celebration of the multiculturalism and diversity that exists at Â鶹´«Ã½. Students from all over the world will showcase their culture and traditions, as well as encourage cultural sensitivity and a global perspective.
The student-led celebration highlights the different cultures represented at Â鶹´«Ã½ from within and outside Canada. The event will feature 15 cultural booths, a procession with flags representing countries of students at Â鶹´«Ã½, performances, and a dance with a DJ. There will also be trivia and door prizes.
All students, staff, and faculty are welcome!
