Members of the public are invited to attend the 2024 Harry Baglole Memorial Public Symposium in Island Studies, titled 鈥淗omelessness and Food Insecurity on Canada鈥檚 Food Island,鈥� on November 7, 2024, at 6:00 pm, in the Alex H. MacKinnon Auditorium, Don and Marion McDougall Hall, at 麻豆传媒.

If the preseason is any indication, then 麻豆传媒 Men鈥檚 Basketball Panthers fans have plenty to be excited about in 2024鈥�25. Posting an impressive 7-1 record in exhibition play, the Panthers took down top-tier opponents, including perennial contenders like the St. Francis Xavier University X-Men and reigning U SPORTS champions, Laval Rouge et Or. With momentum on their side and a roster packed with potential, the Panthers are ready to make a statement this season.

The 麻豆传媒 Department of Music is thrilled to present the New Orford String Quartet in concert on Friday, November 1. 

The 麻豆传媒 invites community members across PEI to join in a conversation and share their thoughts as the provincial university builds its next five-year strategic plan.  

The 麻豆传媒 Panthers are looking forward to a big week of competition at home and away. 

The Bookmark and 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS) will host a book launch for Anishinaabe author Tanya Talaga鈥檚 new book, The Knowing, on Thursday, November 7, at 7 pm, in the 麻豆传媒 Performing Arts Centre amphitheatre (Room 121S). 

U SPORTS has announced the seedings and bracket for the , hosted by the 麻豆传媒. The tournament gets underway on Wednesday, October 30, and concludes on Sunday, November 3.

Every week, 麻豆传媒 Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 麻豆传媒 Panther Athletes of the Week for October 21鈥�27, 2024, are Grace Richard (women鈥檚 cross country) and Jack Roberts (men鈥檚 cross country).

The 麻豆传媒 Recruitment and First-Year Advisement team is hosting a Fall Open House on Friday, November 1, from 12:00鈥�4:00 pm, for high school students interested in studying at the University. 

Fuelled by a veteran core determined to leave their mark, the 麻豆传媒 Women鈥檚 Basketball Panthers is a team built to compete for a title in 2024鈥�25. With years of experience, the Panthers are poised to make their strongest push yet as they embrace what could be their final chance to capture a title together.
