When Dr. Dan Fredholm first entered the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) in 2005, he envisioned a future as a small animal veterinarian. Like any great Disney story, destiny had other plans.
麻豆传媒鈥檚 2024 Giving Tuesday campaign was an unprecedented success, raising a total of $44,010 from 54 extremely generous donors on the Global Day of Philanthropy. An anonymous donor pledged to match Giving Tuesday donations up to $20,000, making it by far the largest year yet for 麻豆传媒. The donations will be dedicated to the University鈥檚 $15-million Robertson Library Revitalization campaign.
Festive greetings and good wishes filled the air as guests were welcomed to the New Year鈥檚 Day Levee held by the 麻豆传媒 and the 麻豆传媒 Alumni Association on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering building.
The 麻豆传媒 held a celebration on September 26, 2024, at Alumni Hall to recognize the recipients of the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Awards and the 2024 Inspiring Young Alumni Awards.
The 麻豆传媒 Department of Alumni and Engagement hosted a social night on Tuesday, April 9 at the Fox & Crow, W.A. Murphy Student Centre. The event was held to help welcome the 麻豆传媒 Class of 2024 to the 麻豆传媒 alumni family and was open to all 2024 graduates and 麻豆传媒, Saint Dunstan鈥檚 University, and Prince of Wales College alumni.
The 麻豆传媒 community will be well represented by both alumni and staff at the national women鈥檚 curling championship鈥攖he Scotties Tournament of Hearts鈥攖aking place in Calgary, Alberta from February 16鈥�25, 2024.
Through the generosity of the 麻豆传媒 Alumni Association and a donor, 麻豆传媒 sponsored the attendance of 100 students at 鈥淎 Conversation with Michelle Obama,鈥� which took place in Halifax on October 18.
The 2023 麻豆传媒 Panther Golf Classic is Friday, June 23, at Fox Meadow Golf Course in Stratford. Presented by Stewart McKelvey, this is a fun day for participants that begins at 9:00 am with a shotgun start.
The first-ever 麻豆传媒 Panther Pitch competition took place two years ago as part of the Harry W. MacLauchlan Entrepreneurship Program. This year, 麻豆传媒's Experiential Education Department is re-offering the program through March, culminating in a pitch competition in May.
