Earlier this month—Black History Month—the Canadian Broadcasting Company named five people 2023 Black Changemakers for Prince Edward Island. Four of the five have connections to the Â鶹´«Ã½ community.
Â鶹´«Ã½ has announced that basketball great Eireann Rigby will be inducted into the Â鶹´«Ã½ Sports Hall of Fame on Friday, February 3, during a pre-game ceremony. The Â鶹´«Ã½ Women’s Basketball Panthers will play the Saint Mary’s University Huskies at home starting at 6:00 pm.
The University community was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of alumnus Keptin John Joe Sark, LLD, on January 8.
